DIAC releases New Skilled Occupation Lists (SOL) for General Skilled Migration

On 1 July 2012 DIAC released updated Skilled Occupation Lists for the General Skilled Migration Program

Skilled Occupation List (SOL) - Schedule 1
Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List (CSOL) - Schedule 1 & 2

To apply for an Australian General Skilled Migration visa either:

1. The occupation you nominate must be on the current Skilled Occupation List (SOL) - Schedule 1. You need to nominate a skill that fits your skills and qualifications.

OR if your occupation is not on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) - Schedule 1

2. If you can nominate an occupation on the current State and Territory Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List (CSOL) - Schedule 2 you may be able to obtain sponsorship from a State or Territory if the occupation is on their State Migration Plan.
